So for my first academic workshop, I went to the Freshman Reception. I thought it was mandatory so I went even though I was extremely hungry. Being that I was so hungry, I was looking forward to some “refreshments” but apparently it was too crowded so I was put into another room without all the goodies. I didn’t recieve the folder and the advisor only said her apologies for the craziness of the whole workshop. Overall, it was no longer then 10 minutes and she agreed to sign everyone’s book/planner and called it a day. It definately wasn’t informative at all.
