today, i went to the archery club. it was kinda fun, even though i am not that good. usually, the club meet on the weekend, but they are starting to have meetings on tuesdays, and maybe thursday. there was only like 9 people shooting arrows, all shooting at the same time.
Wow that’s pretty sweet. I’ve always wanted to learn how to shoot a bow. I’m definetly thinking of checking it out one day. Hopefully the club will meet more often so that I could have a chance at actually practicing it. Well we’ll see, still gotta check their scedule.
Wow. Sounds sick. I’ll be the dude to get impaled tho so I’ll take a rain check on that one. Archery is a good skill to learn tho just in case you’re in the forest against a bear and you just happen to have a bow and arrows with you.
Do you guys really go to clubs??? I think i am the only one who go to club every two weeks. I think we can go together next time.
This summer when I went on vacation to the Dominican Republic, we stayed at a resort which offered activities, and archery was one of them. At first I was really embarrassed to try cause I though I was going to suck, but I actually did really well. I would join, but I’m kind of on the fence about joining clubs now.
if u go there the first time, there is a guy that introduces u to the equipment. that takes like at most 20 minutes. then u just shoot the arrows and practice. oh yeah, they meet usually on the tuesdays from 12:30 to i think 2 on the 6th floor of the 23rd street building. u have to go through the locker room there.
Wait so you guys actually shot arrows? Where do they have the club meeting? It sounds interesting and fun compared to a lot of the other academic clubs.
Did you learn anything while you were there? Is it a hands on club? Do you just just start with a bow and arrow, or do you hve to build up to that step?

i don’t think i am an official member, but it doesnt really matter. today, i just went there to see how many people go to that club and learn something
