Well, there’s officially 2 weeks left in the semester, minus any finals you have to take. No doubt, its going to be jam-packed with work. The final music quiz, our English paper, a sociology final… it should be putting us to the test yet again. However, reflecting back on the semester, I must say it wasn’t that bad at all. I seem to still procrastinate like I did in high school and so far its working. However, now that I have all these reading intensive courses next semester, I have to break out of the habit. Now that we have 2 weeks left, lets not slack of just yet… we have a a month and a half dedicated to just that soon 😉
College is a breeze. Definitely more reading than I thought but at this point nothing surprises me. These last 2 weeks is nothing that any of us can’t handle. Continue doing what you’ve been doing, it has gotten you this far. Pay full attention and we’ll all get A’s at the end of December.
I agree with everyone, I have always procrastinated all through high school but, I realized that soon, this habit wouldnt work. With harder courses next semester, we all have to try our best and hopefully get things done ahead of time instead of leaving everything to the last minute. Well, good luck on finals!
Yea I agrre with Sam on that there is definetly more slacking in the LC group. It’s like we’re are a whole big slacking family. But hey it’s only the first semester, and I’m planning to get it going in the next semester since I’m actually going to have classes related to my major. Other than that I can’t wait for vacation to come!
LC16!!being in a Learning Community is very helpful for freshmen to make new friends and adapt to college life. BUT, i think i would definiately not procastinate as much if i were to start college alone without the LC. I do agree that the first semester went by really fast and i just cant wait for the vacation to come. Schedule for next semester is almost the same as this semester, I just hope that i wont be able to make friends so i would have to do everything by myself. HAHAHA…Glad im part of this awsome LC, good luck on the last two weeks!
All i have to say is…… I could of done so much better. After a devastating personal incident I just didn’t feel like working :\. Like before that I did all the reading and etc but afterward all my work just stopped haha. Can’t wait till the break to recuperate.
I agree with all of you that this semester went by really quickly. It’s good to know that they all will go by this quickly. At first I wasn’t sure whether or not I would stick to a block or an LC, but I’m glad I chose the LC. I’m really going to miss everybody, even though we might see each other around next semester. I hope everybody does good on their finals and english presentations.
I agree, these last two weeks are our last chances to pick up on anything, we have our last quizes, our last papers. Finals some of us can study for all together, like whoever is in HIS 1003 if you’d like. It did go by pretty quick, which is sort of scary. I wish you guys luck next semester and hopefully we’ll still see each other around 🙂
This semester went by really fast for me. As regards to procrastinating, I think I’m close to dropping the habit as I do most things in advance now. Next semester is just work for me so I hope I’ll manage through it along with the early schedule.
I really enjoy the beginning of my college life. It seems not as hard as I heard before. Im so proud that I have an awesome LC group. It is not so hard to make friends in college:) I hope we can keep in touch even though we won’t have the same classes in the future.
Yeah, honestly now looking back at it. This semester actually went by really fast. I’m really looking forward to the vacation though. Well, now we onyl have to look forward to survive these two weeks and we are good. As stated earlier, we better step up as these last two weeks really counts towards our final grades. I’m really glad i took part in this LC.
This semester seems like it really flew by quickly. I agree with Asfal that this semester wasn’t so bad, but I do have to stop my procrastinating habits as well. haha. I wish everyone goodluck on the upcoming week 🙂
I agree with Afsal on the procrastinating part. The first semester wasn’t as hard as I had heard teachers in my high school say. I wasn’t scratching my head all the time.The coming two weeks can affect our GPA a lot. We have a long vacation coming up after that so it would be best to push ourselves right now for the finals. It seems like the next semester is going to be much more harder. It was a great semester though. Since we were in same classes I guess we got to know each other better.
