Freshman Reception in the Center for Academic Advisement

Last thursday, the 17th, i attended the freshman reception in room 5-125. There was a whole crowd there, but i managed to get in pretty quickly. We had to sign up in the front for records and a woman handed out a folder of useful papers. We were then escorted to a table in a room and a mentor came and talked to us about the required courses for various majors. We had chances to ask questions and they were somewhat answered.

It was all good but there was way too many people cramped in.

Freshman Reception Workshop–Student Life

On Thursday, I attended the Freshman Reception workshop. When I went, they weren’t handing out any folders or documents. But my friend had a copy, and I was able to see what it was all about.
Basically it was all about the majors and minors that Baruch offered. If you look into the school’s website and the school’s bulletin, you would see that it contains all of the information (maybe even more) about the majors and minors that Baruch offers.
But, if you’re curious, it wouldn’t hurt to get a copy of the documents and look it over.

Freshman Open House

Last Thursday, September 17 was the Freshman Reception. It is a Academic Enrichment Workshop. They gave out folders on declaring a minor, along with a list of Tier 3 minors. There were also information on Tier I and Tier II ( classes you must take) For those of you who didn’t get the folder last week, they have them now, so you can go ask. For those who didn’t go but want the information and papers, you can go to NVC 5-215.
