Market America Boston

I went to Boston over the weekend for a business convention. I learned a lot about different ways Market American can allow people the freedom and tools necessary to create a business. Market America is the biggest online shopping destination. I urge you to go on you.marketamerica.com if you want to shop online. They offer deals, 2 percent cash back and .5 percent cash back on referrals! No other site offers .5 percent back on referrals, so if you want an opportunity to earn money while shopping this is the place for you! Just sign up on the site and let me know if you want to learn more about this business.

OMG Choosing a class schedule is hectic

Choosing a class schedule was hectic. I had to run to the library and grab a computer and wait 15 minutes, while everyone else was registering for classes I wanted. I actually stared at a kid as he took the last seat of the psychology class I wanted. Everything got messed up and I had to look for new classes. I HAVE CLASS ON FRIDAY T_T.

Career Day

I went to Career day on September 25th and was not surprised that it was mostly for the upperclassmen. Even though there were not many opportunities for freshman such as myself, I found the experience enlightening. I talked to some representatives of financial institues such as TD, credit suisse and Wells Fargo, which gave me an impression of what these potential employers were looking for. Most of the bigger finance corporations had huge lines that I didn’t bother to wait on, since I knew that they were looking for employees coming right out of college and not freshman interns. Overall it was not such a bag experience, except that I had to wear an oversized used suit in order to get in.

Arts at Baruch

On 10/6 I was given a touro f the art exhibit at Mason. I did not understand most of the pieces that were centered around landscape because I am not an art major. Although I didn’t understand the peices, I could tell there was a lot of meaning behind each one. If you are into the arts, I would definitely give it a visit even if it is not one of the biggest galleries around.

Lamest Workshop Ever

I went to that “mandatory” workshop last week and it was the most disorganized event I have ever been to. The whole floor was packed and when I finally did get in there was only ONE lady who could sign your agenda. She was getting mobbed by the crowd and I didn’t even get a cookie.
