Library Tour

The library tour was the perfect workshop to begin college with. A couple of weeks has passed since that initial excursion into Baruch life, and it is clear that outside of classes, I will spend a great deal of time in the library. Aside from the workshop showing-off all the neat and comfortable places to relax and study, other lesser known and less obvious facilities were also made clear.

I had no idea that we would be allowed to borrow laptops and calculators (if we got there early enough) or that we could print and copy certain amount of pages that were paid for before hand by our technology fees. All these services will be very helpful; the printing has already proven to be of great assistance as our English professor has us print chapters in excess of 30 pages.

Overall the library has a very welcoming atmosphere. It appears very high tech and cozy with more than enough computers, study pods, and sofas to accomodate any study session. The news that the library is open all the time during finals week only reinforces this helpful support system. I expect to take full advantage of the library during my college career.
