The club fair was quite crowded today. However, it did create a good atmosphere. I did not know where to begin with clubs so I just walked around with my friends. I was more of looking for academic and career clubs, not lesiure clubs. At every table, the representatives were very friendly and explained what the clubs were about and its goals. I signed up for five clubs including Apple Student Club and AIESEC. The Apple Student Club is a club where you learn how to use the MAC to its potential and abilities. The AIESEC is an organization for study abroad opportunities and programs. I really want to study abroad especially in France and Japan which is why I signed up for it.

I thought there would be more clubs and organizations at the club fair today. Everybody were friendly even when I did not want to sign up with their club or organization. It is recommended because every student should be in at least one club. It is a great way to expand your social and academic circle. I am interested in some other clubs but I am going to join next term. From this workshop, I got a more thorough understanding of Baruch and how it is like especialy with events.
