When I first entered the Student Services Fair, it was really crowded. Before I went around the room filled with tables, I was given a card in which I was suppose to get it punched from the people at the tables. Many of the tables that I went to gave me a lot of useful information. Some of which included Sports at Baruch, Studying Abroad, Financial Aid, the Writing Center, Starr Career Development Center, and the Testing & Evaluation Center.
I was particularly interested in the Starr Career Development Center and Writing Center the most. By going to the Starr Career Development Center, it will help me find the right major, polish up my resume for my future jobs, as well as Mock Trial interviews. On the other hand, since writing papers have always been my weakness, I ought to improve it by making appointments and visiting the Writing Center. There, they will be helping me fix up my grammar issues, the writing skills I need to further improve my writings, as well as revisions. Hopefully by doing so, there might be some improvements on my grades.
