Student Services Fair

I went to the Student Services Fair on Oct 13th. This workshop had a lot of information about student life and what academic help Baruch can offer. We were given this card where you go around and get 10 stamps. It was really crowded and I didn’t want to stay for this either. But it’s a good thing I stayed because it helped me learn a whole lot of stuff. For example, I learned about SACC and the Writing Center and how they’re basically like free tutors. I knew about it from convocation but they explained more than what I already knew. For example, signing up for an appointment can be done online.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any stamps. I forgot that we were supposed to get it stamped but since it was only a raffle I kind of didn’t care. But thanks to this workshop I learned a lot of new things. They wouldn’t have done this fair if they didn’t want to. They took their time out for freshmen and others to know about their service. Again, if they don’t take their time out for us, we wouldn’t have these services. Thanks Student Services Fair.
