When I first entered the club fair, the gym was congested with students. Inside, I saw all different types of clubs that Baruch has to offer. I wanted to go look at all the clubs and somehow I managed to after walking around for an hour or so. While walking, there were a few people that came up to me and wanted to recruit me into their club. At first I was scared because I didn’t expect people to actually come up to me and tell me about their clubs. However, they were all friendly and they really made it sound like their club is interesting. That’s when I decide that I should probably join a club so that I can expand my social life.
In the end I joined four clubs. Two of these clubs that I joined were for fun. They don’t have any weekly meetings other than to have fun and compete with one another. The other two clubs on the other hand, do have weekly meetings and it’s always best if you attend them all. I didn’t want to sign up for clubs that always involve commitments because it might lead to stress with school work and etc., that’s why I chose half and half.
