Unicef Bakesale

So….yesterday was the bakesale to raise money for Unicef and I believe we made about $140 in about 2 to 3 hours of selling and I got to say, “Good Job Everyone!”.  I had a fun time selling baked goods to all baruch students and staff.  Some people ignored me when I advertised my baked goods and others were very friendly about it.  For the most part, many people donated money when being offered a bake good in return and rejected it.  I’m glad to see people be so nice as to just even donating a quarter.  When I was advertising and selling a cookie for a dime, some lady just walked up to the cookie platter, reached for a cookie and I said, “A cookie for a dime :)” and she took her hands back and walked away…..I’m assuming she thought the cookie was free and that was quite an embarrassing situation.  Overall, the bakesale went well and hope I get a chance to do this again in the near future.
