Career Exploration workshop

yea, i sorta forgot to blog about the career exploration workshop. The career exploration workshop that I went to is held in VC 1-107 on Thursday, October 22,2009. The title of the workshop is FRO Intership & Goal Setting Workshop. It was pretty interesting despite the rude people that were sitting near me who kept talking throughout the whole workshop. I learned about what kind of internships there are and many other things. There are paid, unpaid, credit internships. I also found out there’s a Diversity Job & Intership fair that is hosted on Friday, November 20th. From 12 Pm – 4 Pm at the VC gym. Anyone want to go there ? =D, I think its sorta gonna be like the club fair where intern hosts set up their table and take your resume and see if they accept you or not. You have to be in a suit for guys, don’t know about girls, probably have to be in a business attire.

I probably will check up with STARR Career Development Center like sometime this week when I have time. Thank for the offer tho.

For the internship fair I would recommend contacting the STARR Career Development Center in order to make sure you are eligible to attend the internship fair. There’s usually a registration process. I can find out for you if you’d like.
