Who Do You Think You Are?

Hi All!

I wanted to wait until we spoke a little bit about leadership and got to know each other a little before I assigned this post. Here it goes..

This is your first mandatory postReflect on the following four questions, and craft a response of no more than 500 words. Feel free to integrate media into your post!

  • Tell us who you think YOU are!
  • Share your top 3 concerns about your freshman year at Baruch College and explain why.
  • So far, what do you think will make your Baruch College experience different from your high school experience?
  • How do you think your first year at College will change you?

Don’t be shy! You may comment on your classmate’s posts if you wish – just remember to be respectful and keep it PG!

I’m a freshman at Baruch who graduated from Brooklyn tech. I’m a very cool and mellow guy and I like to work out, play/watch sports and just have a good time with friends. My top three concerns for freshman year are getting to know the campus, and everything Baruch has to offer. I also want to maintain a good GPA and possibly transfer out to another college where I can dorm. I’ve lived in the city my whole life and honestly Baruch feels too much like High School. Also the city has way too many distractions and I know too many people here, so I never have time home alone in my room to study except at night. I do like Baruch more than high school because I have alot more freedom and I have long breaks everyday. This gives me time to explore, eat, get to know people and the area, and even go work out.  I think college will make me more mature and independent, as well as give the tools I need to make a successful living.
