The pictures I chose to put on my eight image slideshow depict things I like. There is a photo of Venice Beach because I love spending summers in California. I also love watching sunsets. There is a photo of my best friend and me. Although we are in different colleges, we still manage to stay best friends. Without her, I would not have been able to get through this past year. Another picture in my slideshow is of the swing ride at amusement parks. It portrays the side of me that loves to be outside and go on rides. I also put a picture of the Naked eyeshadow palette because I am obsessed with makeup. I love trying new makeup and exploring different brands. Another picture I put was the view of the city from Battery Park. I love having picnics at Battery Park and Central Park with my friends. I also put a picture of the train station I live in. This picture represents the neighborhood I’ve lived in my entire life. My friends also live in Queens so we are always hanging out here. There are great places to shop and eat around here. Another picture in my slideshow was of cupcakes from Baked by Melissa. I have the biggest sweet tooth and am always craving chocolate. I also put a picture of my Macbook which I just recently got. I’m addicted to it and find it so convenient for everything!
Shivani, thank you for posting this slideshow (I’m glad flickr worked for you). These photos represent a lot about you as a person. What is it about California that draws you there? Regarding your photo of your best friend, I think it is great that you are able to hold on to and value your friendship given the different college selections. Even though you may be going down different paths, it is nice to have someone there to reflect on your decisions and to help each other. Thank you for the city photos. By the way, my Macbook and Baked by Melissa are two of the things that drive me everyday!

Thanks Angela! Although it may sound cliche, I like California because of the palm trees and the sunsets! Also, I love visiting my cousins and spending time with my family who happen to live there. My cousins live in Orange County which is so different from New York City. I enjoy pending my summers somewhere different and more relaxing than home. It is nice to be in a more suburb type area once in a while.
