New Experiences

This picture of has represented my experience at Baruch thus far. In the photo, Nick and Alexa is featured going down the stairs of the train station. This picture is of Nick’s first time on the MTA transit line. Although Shivani is not in the picture, my breaks with Nick, Alexa, and Shivani sums up my first semester at Baruch. This represents our explorations for new experiences. That day, we decided to go to Soho to shop, eat, and just have a good time. Not only was I able to spend my breaks with great company, but I was able to explore different parts of the city that I never knew could be so much fun! Although all of us live within the proximity of the NYC metro area, we realized that there were many cultural differences between the different boroughs (& Long Island). I am glad that Alexa and I were able to meet other friends who had similar interests as us, but they were different enough to keep our friendship interesting. Without meeting Shivani and Nick, breaks would not be as enthusiastic or funny! There is never a dull moment, and I am glad that we decided to remain in touch even after this semester.
