My name is Chun Kit Wong but I go by my English name Michael. I chose this playlist because the meaning in addition to the order of these songs closely reflect who I think I was to who I think I am today. I used do all my homework at the last minute (The Lazy Song – Bruno Mars). Afterwards, I lost myself in the entertainment world (DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love- Usher (Feat. Pitbull) & Introducing Me – Nick Jonas). Towards the end of high school, I started to realize how much this had dragged me down academically. Then, I entered the period of desolation. (Mad – Ne-Yo & Insomnia- Craig David).
After that, I decided pull myself together and focus on academics – I’m going to turn over a new leaf in college (I’m Coming Home – J. Cole & Right Back Where I started – Varsity). Although the future will be tough, I’m determined to strive over each difficulty, one step at a time (Babysteps – Varsity & The Climb – Miley Cirus).
