Monologue- Man Wai Choi

Before I came to America, I was a well-round student in my high school. I was an athlete who was rarely able to academic excellence. I am not going to boost how good I am because all of these were just the past of my life. When I decided to study in America, I didn’t study for the SAT very well actually. I got a bad result of the SAT and I was afraid that I have to study in BMCC. Luckily, I am in Baruch now. However, that’s not really great at all. I can’t do essay and the test well, and also, I get in the varsity volleyball team in Baruch. Unfortunately, I am the shortest and weakest player. I become even the worst student. Whatever, my attitude will never change. I won’t give up and I can ensure that I will be a great student in Baruch and a successful person in the society, not now, but in the future. I believe that “Your attitude determines your life” so the worst situation is the best motivation. That’s what I want to share to all of you. That’s my attitude, that’s me.
