Visting of Mishkin Art Gallery is really interesting, i learned that most jazz are first came from African Americans. In my opinion, I believe Jazz is a kind of music can make everyone feels hyper, and enjoy the deep of the music. The intruducer who describes those Jazz pictures very carefully, she mentioned the size and different view points of a photo. I love to take pictures on everything and always want to learn more about photography. Thanks to the intruducer, she taught me how to take a picture to show a person is in motion.

The Baruch Voice was amazing! I love all the stories performed by awesome actors. I’m enjoyed watching the show and actually surprised of how each actor put their emotions into each stories. The one story about first new born baby at year 2008 really impressed me, and I can tell the writer was joyful of his sister’s birth through the actor’s performance. I hope I have another chance to see the Baruch Voice next time.

Visited the Rubin Museum is kind of interesting and scary. Even though I do not believe any gods, but the designing of the Museum makes you respect every statues. When I started looking around in the second floor of Museum, I found out my peers lower their voices when they speak and the whole museum seems extraordinary quit. We were told to close eyes for 60 seconds when nearby the triangle area, I actually felt peaceful inside my heart and relaxed after hearing the whisper music at the background. However, the only thing I don’t like about visiting the Rubin Museum is that I don’t have time to buy my lunch, and I was extremely starving for my later the class.

I’m seeing myself in a mirror, things around me can be observe but can’t reach. For me, everyday has the same pattern, back and forth between two places school and home. In class, I will pay attention to the professor, when class is over I will find a place to eat and sleep, everything seems dull and unrealistic like the memory from yesterday.  Yes, a mirror! I felt like I’m in the mirror, the way that I act and behave is sometimes opposite to what is supposed to be. For example, when I got angry, I smile instead of showing anger. Sit in front of the mirror, imagine myself in five years, I graduated from college and got an accounting degree, and later on I will have a stable job working in somewhere at Manhattan, seeing myself as a white collar who wearing a formal dress. Even though, there’s so much pressure on me from everywhere but still I will point to the mirror and say “hey, you are the best, so don’t let the future of you disappoint at who you are now.”

Hi, my name is Minting, I came to China when i was 12. I’m a typical Asian, i love light and classical music, those songs can make you feel relax and suddenly nothing left in your mine except enjoy. The music i posted, each of them have a different meaning for me, but most of them shows believing myself, i have a dream, and one day i will be success.  I’m the one who like to force myself a lot, because when i first came to America I learned the difficulty of living in a new environment and always like an outsider, but I never give up and believe I will have a successful future.  Like all the girls, I love cute and pretty things, especially small doggie. I like to shopping, but different from other girls, I shop for foods, for examples I shop for candy, cookies, chips, and juices. My parents keep telling me “try to grow up”, but it’s okay, I will keep my immature personality and I would like to marry to FOODS.
