Mishkin Gallery- Chun Kit Wong
The Mishkin Gallery opened my eyes and let me see photography different from before. The gallery’s instructor informed us about each photos’ significance and meaning and taught us how tilting the angle before taking the photograph can have a dramatic effect on the photo itself. I’ve left the gallery with new insights about photography.

Rubin Museum – Chun Kit Wong
Although the stay at Rubin Museum was short, I’ve left the place with more knowledge about the Tibet than ever before. In a room roughly the size of a standard kitchen was filled with replicas of paintings from the ancient Tibet education. The number of paintings were small, but the contents were enormous; the paintings contain enough knowledge of three P.H.Ds. Rubin Museum has given me a great impression and I hope I can say the same for our next enrichment workshop.

Monologue – Chun Kit Wong
Everyone hears this phrase a lot: no pain, no gain. Yet, by nature, I am a very lazy person. If you had told me two years ago to run two miles to school because I’m late for an exam, that’s not going to happen. But last year, I did. I’ll never forget that day when I had to take the AP psychology exam. The train station was a two minute walk away from my house and commuting to school takes around ten minutes. So I just took my time and started walking to the train station roughly twenty minutes before the exam begins. When I got to the station, however, a notice says the trains aren’t working. I panicked and ran to school. Two miles in fifteen minutes. Thank goodness I made it to and passed the exam. After this incident happened, “no pain, no gain” became my motto.

About Me – Chun Kit Wong
Usher Ft. Pitbull – DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love
Right Back Where I started — Varsity
Billionaire – Travie McCoy ft. Bruno Mars
My name is Chun Kit Wong but I go by my English name Michael. I chose this playlist because the meaning in addition to the order of these songs closely reflect who I think I was to who I think I am today. I used do all my homework at the last minute (The Lazy Song – Bruno Mars). Afterwards, I lost myself in the entertainment world (DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love- Usher (Feat. Pitbull) & Introducing Me – Nick Jonas). Towards the end of high school, I started to realize how much this had dragged me down academically. Then, I entered the period of desolation. (Mad – Ne-Yo & Insomnia- Craig David).
After that, I decided pull myself together and focus on academics – I’m going to turn over a new leaf in college (I’m Coming Home – J. Cole & Right Back Where I started – Varsity). Although the future will be tough, I’m determined to strive over each difficulty, one step at a time (Babysteps – Varsity & The Climb – Miley Cirus). I sincerely hope that my college experiences will help me become successful in the future (Billionaire – Travie McCoy ft. Bruno Mars).
