The Soundtrack of my Life by Molly Deng

Molly’s Playlist by MD on Grooveshark

Hi! So I decided to do a playlist thinking it would be the easiest option but that’s not turning out as I expected because choosing only 10 songs is really difficult. Given the choice, and the time, I would upload all the songs on my ipod but since I can only choose 10, I’m going to choose the top 10 most played songs on my ipod.

I guess I should probably explain my playlist a little. The first song I chose was “Good Life” by One Republic and I really like this song because, well, I like the way it sounds. It just so happens that this song reminds me very much of the Disneyland commercial and brings back pleasant memories. The next two songs, “Glad You Came” by The Wanted and “What Makes You Beautiful” by One Republic represent my love of boy bands, especially  British ones, and you have to say, their songs are catchy. I’m a big fan of Maroon 5, which explains my next 2 selections, “She Will Be Loved” and “Sunday Morning.”  I also have “Where Are You Now” by Honor Society to further emphasize my point that I love boy bands. Of course, there’s got to be a Beatles song, “Let It Be,” because they’re classic. The last two songs on my playlist are “Fireflies” by Owl City, and “Breakaway” by Kelly Clarkson. I really like the fact that “Fireflies” is just a cute song, about fireflies, whereas most songs are about love and heartbreak, and “Breakaway” was the soundtrack from one of my all time favorite movies, “The Princess Diaries.”

Just from my playlist, you could probably tell a lot about my personality. I’m a very carefree and generally happy person. I still believe in that fairy-tale ending (unlike Angela) and I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. I am a foodie, which means I love to eat. I love to bike. I like to play basketball even though I suck at it. I can (somewhat) play the guitar and the flute. And yeah, that’s about it for now. Until the next post, thanks for reading!

The Brits are great but I didn’t expect your top songs to be One Republic!

  2. I appreciate your wp template, exactly where do you get a hold of it through?
