Blogging was never a big part of my life. I had a blog before, xanga? a while back, and tumblr, also a while back. I usually stay on the site for about a few minutes and then I just log off for months. I don’t really see the point of having a blog, rather than typing about your day. I think I’d be better off just telling someone about my day rather than letting everyone in the world see it. I don’t enjoy blogging and I don’t think I ever will. I followed my friends’ blogs but it was always the same. Just the same pictures constantly being re-posted one after another. All in all, I just think blogging isn’t right for me.

My blogging experience has been good so far. I’ve had blogging experience from a class in high school, but this one is definitely more interesting. Blogging can be a boring experience unless you read and write about things that interest you. This is different than what I expected because the blog I had to do in high school was really boring so I expected this to be really boring too, but it really isn’t that bad. I’m not much of a blogger, but I do read sports related blogs occasionally to keep me up to date on important events. http://espn.go.com/espn/blog/index/_/name/berry_matthew This blog is one of the ESPN top Fantasy Football analyst’s and during the football season I check his blogs for scores, injury updates, etc. Another blog that I check occasionally is http://www.sbnation.com/ This site connects me to a whole list of about 300 sports related blogs, which again keeps me up to date on all sports related topics.

Despite the moaning and groaning upon the knowledge that having to post these blog entries were required to pass this course, this experience was not all that bad. While yes, having to share personal information left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, being able to write down random thoughts – be they personal or fake – was quite enjoyable somewhat. I, myself, don’t actually know what the reason is, perhaps I’m just that much of a masochist, but I’m guessing the enjoyment stems from being to be able create a piece of composition without having to worry about the thesis of my passage, proper grammar and the like. The 500 word minimum on the “Who am I” assignment was unbearable, however.

I love doing crafts, since I seem to get bored way too often. While I’ve stopped focusing on crochet and started to turn towards sewing, it’s still nice to see all the adorable designs that the owner of this blog comes up with.

Well to be honest I’ve never had a blog before so this is my first experience. I never really thought I’d start but here I am right now blogging. Blogging has been what I had expected, lots of writing. I enjoy that it helps me to kind of know my classmates better and get to know things about them such as some of their interest. What I don’t like about it is that I usually forget when a Blog entry is due. It’s different from what I expected because it’s kind of like facebook and twitter where you just write or tweet what’s on your mind. I don’t really follow any blogs besides the ones in our class but I guess facebook, twitter and instagram can be somewhat like a blog. Blogging has been fun for me it gives you a chance to write what’s on your mind and see what is on others.

I don’t really like the idea of blogging discussions, I prefer the idea of having the discussions in the classes where everyone is faced to faced. It is easier to lie online than in real life, it is easier to edit your words and deleting them in the blogger’s preference.  i used to have a blog account on tumblr, but i find it as an annoying distraction and a waste if my time. I personally do not like the ideology of strangers reading about my life story online.

 

 

I decided to make a playlist to describe myself( sorry for the late post to whoever is required to comment on it) I hardly listen to American music, so bare with me, some of these songs are quite old.

It’s my life(Bon jovi)

This song sums up my personality easily, I live my life the way I want. It’s a fairly old song but to me I can’t think of any other song that describes me better. I love to live my life to its fullest, time is precious to everyone. Life is too short to waste away.

Firework( Katy Perry)

I added this song to my playlist because I feel like everyone has the spark inside them, you might not be someone big and great right now but you’re definitly not useless and ignored. Someday you will burst in the sky just like fireworks.

Dynamite( Taio Cruz)

This song describes how I feel like doing almost everyday in school. Just throw everything in the air and let go of all my worries and just live my life.  I feel the title of the song describes me well because sooner or later all the worries and work will make me explode just like a dynamite.

Pokerface(Lady Gaga)

I’m not a huge fan of Lady Gaga but some of her songs are just too great to pass out, pokerface not being one of them.
I added this song to my playlist because of the title, and some of the lyrics… but mostly the title. I  put on a pokerface everyday to hide my true feelings. However most of the time it’s because I’m either annoyed or simply find your joke too corny to laugh at but somewhere inside me, I’m lauging.

Fireflies(Owl City)

I added this song for just one line in the lyric(I’m weird ’cause I hate goodbyes
I got misty eyes as they said farewell) I hate saying goodbyes. It’s never easy for anyone but when you part ways with your best friends/families/love ones, it’s simply not easy.

Just can’t get enough( Black Eyed Peas)

I just can’t get enough. I can’t get enough of something once I’m addicted to it. Like say… chicken. It tastes great..

Fucking Perfect(Pink)

I love this song, the lyrics is great. Don’t ever doubt yourself, you’re fucking perfect, don’t listen to anyone that disagrees with it.

Skyscraper(Demi Lovato)

I added this song because I feel like no one can ever take you down, just rise from the ground everytime someone tries to take you down. I might not be the best at everything I do, but I will not let anyone take me down, I won’t give up without a fight.

You Give Love a Bad Name(Bon Jovi)

It doesn’t really relate to me but it describes how I feel when some of my friends describes to me about their relationship with their boy/girlfriend. I feel like some of them have “fake” love, no offense to anyone but sometimes a person simply dates another for attention/popularity or simply because they are pretty on the outside. Just don’t come complain to me when it doesn’t work out at the end~

This is just my desire, I simply want everything. Not that I can though, life would be boring if you don’t work for what you want.

Hello everyone!Who am I?

I decided to do the video because I thought it would be fun. It was actually a lot of work, but I loved it.  Making it required me to look back at some old pictures and recall some wonderful memories my friends and I shared together. I also hope it gave you guys a glimpse of how my life is and what is important to me. One thing I did not include is a picture of my mom and brother, simply because I couldn’t find a good one. However, that does not mean they’re not important to me. It is actually quite the opposite, they mean everything to me because they support me each and every day of my life. Especially my mother, she inspires me because she is a hard worker and she encourages me to achieve my goals. She has never opposed any of my dreams even when I wanted to be Hannah Montana, instead she  supported me. Here I am now at Baruch perusing another dream and my mom still supports me just like she did all my life. I love her with all my heart. I also love my friends, they’re a big reason why I am who I am today.

1. This first picture is basketball team jersey for the Flatbush Falcons. The basketball team meant a lot to me in high school. We practiced almost every night and in junior year we won the Yeshiva League championships. The team was just so much fun and shaped me into the basketball player I am today.
2. The next picture is pizza. You probably can tell pizza is my favorite food. Kosher pizza of course. The personal pie is from a store called Posh Tomato.  Eating and socializing is something I just love to do.
3. This when I went to Israel with my school on a trip called chessed mission. Chessed is a Hebrew wordwhich means kindness and charity so the Israel Chessed mission in our school is kind of like a peace corps. This picture is from an Ethiopian Daycare center. This child’s name is Orel and we became good friends that day.
4.  This picture is also from the Chessed Mission. My classmates and I were packaging produce for people and I. in this picture shown two people that mean a lot to me and helped become who I am today. The man on my right, his name is Rabbi Bessar, and the man on the Bottom right corner, Rabbi Levy, our school principles. These two men have taught me values that I will never forget and aspire to become like them.
5.  This is the picture of me running the half marathon in Disneyworld. I wanted to stop, but I was motivated since I was running for charity. I was just in so much pain, but I couldn’t stop. I ended finishing the race in 2 hours and 57 minutes and realized anything is possible if I have a motivation.
6.  Fruity Pebbles! Who doesn’t love fruity pebbles? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And without a healthy breakfast your day wont be productive, that’s why every morning before school I have fruity pebbles for breakfast.
7. This picture is I at graduation. 12 years at Flatbush and I did it! I’m blowing up a balloon for the celebration party. Graduation was one of my proudest moments in my life.
8. This next picture is f my favorite hockey team the New York Rangers. They went far this past season and I hope they could win the Stanley cup nest season. I’ve been to a lot of games and just enjoy watching them in my free time.

The most important people in my life are my parents. They are the ones who have always been there for me good and bad ( of course) . Encourage me everyday to be the best that i could possible be and to never give up. They are my inspiration and my drive, they have given everything to give me a better life and i want to pay them back by making them proud.  i love them to death <3

. I  My brother Steven is also a very important person in my life. He is exactly 8 yrs old turning 9 soon! He is a pain in the butt sometimes but i wouldnt know what to do with myself if i didn’t have my brother. I hope to be a good role model to my brother and to be someone who he knows he can always count on.

This is a picture of my godmother, Isabel. A god mother in Catholic relgion is someone who will take care of the child incase the parents pass away .She is literally my second mother, i can always count on her for everything.  I love the fact that i can be able to talk to her about anything and everything whenever i need.  She has taken that role from day one even if my parents were live and well. I am so thankful for having with her in my life <3

This picture is a picture of the people in the Gateway program i was involved in high school. This program helped me so much in my preparation for college. All these people are very inspiring and special to me. The memories i share with them will last me a lifetime and i hope to maintain many of the friendships ive acquired.

This is a picture of my boyfriend, diego, and I. I put this picture up here because he is  not only my boyfriend but my bestfriend as well. He was my friend before anything and has always been there for me. He is the only one who has enough patience for my many mood swings and fits. I know no matter whar we will always be a part of each others life.

Theres a silly picture for you all lol! Meet my bestfriends guys ! They are the weirdest people i know but i love them. I can be myself around them and know they will never judge me. I wouldnt change them for anything.

This is graduation, the proudest moment of my life so far. The most emotional one as well. This day marked the start of my new journey. I was soon to become an official college student and making me the first person in my family to attend college. I hope to repeat this day in 4 years when i become  a college grad.

The swimming pool, this represents my escape. This is how i get away from all my troubles and im able to expereince peace and true happiness. I love to swim, have been swimming since i was 7., and even dreamt of becoming professional when i was younger. lol! im a fish out of water !

I’ve seen people so young lose their lives and it’s tragic, to say the least. So, I live by this motto and carpe diem, and anything else of that sort.

Again, this is one of my favorite bands. I’ve loved them since 2006. This song makes me feel kind of nostalgic about the past but in a good way. It reminds me to appreciate my life and the people in it.

Another one from this band. I love this song because it radiates that message of “you only live once”. I like how it’s about moving on without regrets and not fearing the future. I live by this (or try to). This is an all around feel good song for me.

Literally, this is one of the first bands I’ve ever loved. There was a time where I knew every song of theirs by heart and I’d owned every CD they had ever come out with. I also remember buying a CD player just to play their CDS way back when. Anyway, I love the message of this song, that we’re all still young and we’re (obviously as the title suggests) still kids, and that we need to live accordingly. It’s been a very relatable song for me since I’ve been in elementary school.

This is a very self-reflective song for me and I like that it makes me think about who I am and who I want to be.

First off, I LOVE Nicki. And I like the message of the song, conquering your insecurities, reaching for success and all (corny as it sounds).

Don’t know why this is last, but this is one my favorite songs, not really for its meaning, but for how it sounds. After just a week, it was on my 25 Most Played on my iTunes. Not really sure what it means, aside from letting loose and having fun? I don’t know, I’m just obsessed with it.
