For me, the perfect class would be about current events and topics in the world today. It would be a full discussion class (hopefully no papers) and for each class, one student would bring in a recent topic going on in the world that we would talk about. The topics could be about any subject- math, science, politics, etc.- as long as it is educational and has meaning to it. Each class would start off with something fun to get the students interested in the topic, like a riddle or an interesting fact. It wouldn’t be too early in the morning, and there would be a lot of snacks. We would learn from things like movies, music, activities, TV shows, class trips, and even other students’ stories. The classroom would have couches and foot rests instead of desks for the students and professor to create a relaxing environment so people would feel comfortable discussing the topics.
The professor would also be very easy to understand, communicate with, and he/she wouldn’t complicate the topic. I wouldn’t mind if the professor is strict in class either because I think it would help the students to focus on the topic and pay attention.
