Dear Professor,
Upon receiving my semester grades, I realized that you have given me a B- in the class. I have thought it over many times and checked my own personal records and I strongly believe I deserve an A. My test and quiz grades have always been above the 90 mark and I have always handed in the homework. If I may, I would like to schedule an appointment with you discussing this matter. I must say this has to be an error and I hope this can be resolved. Please let me know as soon as possible and thank you for your time.
