First Three Month – Jessica Hong

I believe that this picture reflects my first three months in Baruch College. For the last three months, I began to learn how to restrain myself from being an impulsive buyer. The prices in Manhattan is too damn high, and having to go to school without being lured to a city shops and restaurants is practically unavoidable. But by learning to save money, by bring homemade food, buying used books, using water containers (rather than buying bottled water), and going to a local library, I was able to saved a lot and manage my money correctly. Saving money for my future grad school is a huge motivation for me. Breaking the habits of an impulsive buyer and horribly addicted to online shopping, is going to be a difficult path but it is one that must be done.
