First three months- Qiyuan Chen

This image couldn’t describe my first 3 months in Baruch any better. Empty Wallet. The amount of money I spent on food, books, metrocards, food, food, food, and food is giving me a huge headache. It greatly pains to limit myself to $20-$30 a week and then break it on day 1 of the week. What’s worse is that the price of everything near Baruch is expensive compare to it’s regular price. Just last week, my friend and I were trying to get some food, it was raining outside, so we didn’t feel like running all the way to the dollar pizza place. So we ended up heading to a pizzeria nearby. I ordered a buffalo chicken slice, figuring the most they charge it would be $3 or so. It turned out to be almost $5. We didn’t have a choice but to pull out the wallet and stab outself in the heart.
