My Perfect Class – Michael Jemal

My perfect class would have to be on a topic that interests me. It could be about anything as long as i don’t fall asleep in the class. The teacher would have to be great, someone that I look up to and wish to be like. My classmates would be my friends, and we would all interact and enjoy the class. We would be able to take notes however we want. The material we learn in the class I will utilize everyday for the rest of my life.

My Perfect Class (David Aptekar)

My perfect class would first off have to be in the subject area of which I have an interest. The professor must be someone who is not only very knowledgeable in that subject, but an intelligent person in general. Also the teacher must not only teach but engage the class in discussions where every person has an equal chance to participate because information is not just obtained through study and repetition but through the exchange of ideas between the people around you as well. It is also very important that the class is challenging, this is because if a class is too easy the need to pay attention fades away. Above all else the perfect class is where upon entering that class I am forced to use my brain, whether it is stimulated by interesting information or stumped by difficult questions it does not matter as long as I am exercising my brain. However, if the class does not teach me anything I do not already know, all of the elements of a perfect class that I listed above are irrelevant, the purpose of taking a class is so that one’s knowledge expands and is open to new information and ideas. If a class if unable to provide the learning aspect then it is not a class, instead it is a waste of time.

Perfect Class (Raymond Wu)

The perfect class would be a class where we get to learn about a subject/topic of our interests. Something that has a lot of hands on activities involved! I hate having to read about doing something when we can actually just do it. A perfect class would have a cozy and comfortable environment. Not so comfortable that I would fall asleep but like just enough so I don’t get the urge of getting out of my seat and stretching. I would like a warm classroom. Warm as in mid 70s not hot nor cold. I’m very picky about temperature. I hate being cold or being drenched in sweat. I want the teacher to be enthusiastic. I want them to be excited about teaching in class everyday. At least make it seem like they love what they do, so we can love it as well. That’s pretty much it for all I look for in a perfect class.

My Perfect Class – Kevin Chow

The perfect class for me is one with an interesting topic that can actually be applicable towards real life. The workload should be manageable and useful to the extent that it will both help me in my studies and leave me with more free time. The professor should be loud and clear where I can easily understand him/her. He/she should be funny and relaxed regarding things like attendance, food, and the use of electronics. The classroom itself should be a regular classroom with a whiteboard or electronic display to avoid the chalk and noise of a blackboard. It should also be well ventilated and heated/cooled accordingly to the weather. Class activities can be anything, but it has to be engaging and interesting so I don’t fall asleep (which I usually do).

Perfect class

For me, I think that a “perfect class” would be one where the material that we’re learning will actually be things that we’ll use everyday, either now or in a few years. Just knowing that the things we’re learning wouldn’t just be shoved into the depths of our mind is enough. Of course, that’s not the only thing that makes a class perfect. The teacher would need to be able to motivate us to learn and explain the material in an easy but entertaining way. Also free snacks and break time where we’ll play seven up would be a nice plus.

Perfect Class…by Lance Zar

Hey all its Lance again. So we are assigned to describe what we think the “perfect” class would be. Well i think that is a silly question. The perfect class could be anything. Depends on my mood actually. If im looking for a girlfriend, the perfect class would be one with only beautiful women in it, and im the only guy. But i dont think that is really what i am supposed to talk about…put it out there anyways. So back to a serious note, I think a perfect class would have to start with a topic that is at least SEMI interesting. I think students should be allowed to use cell phones and computers. I believe in freedom, and from recent studies in my high school, in classes that i was allowed to be on my phone without getting in trouble, i would usually do better in those classes. If all i have to do is listen during class, i will get kind of bored and probably fall alseep. But if i could use my phone once in a while, it will keep me awake. I tend to respect teachers who give students there freedom. And if i respect a teacher, i will work harder. If someone is nice to me, i always repay the favor. Thats just who i am, yaknow. The professor has to also be at least somewhat animated. If the professor is dull and is just trying to do his job and end his day, that wont really fly with me. If the professor works hard to keep us entertained and keep us related to te topic being taught, then it would result in much higher grades and a better learning experience. The class also has to have AC or a heater. Duh…And also, the professor shoudl give out snacks every time we get a question right. I like snacks. Arrite, calling it a blog. Much love, live your life, LANCE OUT!
