My experience at Baruch so far…

The picture that reflects my time at Baruch is a running clock. The entire time I felt as though time was simply running away from me. No matter how organized I tried to be it felt as if I just never had enough time for all those presentations, research papers, assignments, blog posts, etc.

This also connects with my first impressions of Baruch, because I was so busy trying to handle work and school that I didn’t fully experience Baruch. My first impression is that I really had no first impression. I was caught up in doing things outside of school. I learned that next semester and the following years I want to invest more time in school and stop focusing so much on how times running out, and just live more in the present day, the NOW (something I never do). And although I felt as if time were running away, I remembered that quote from freshman seminar about how we have the same amount of hours as Mother Teresa, and all those significant people in history that did so much. Time may seem as though its running away from you, and it is, but stop complaining and start doing. That’s how I can describe my first few months at Baruch.
