I went to a pretty small high school. My graduating class alone was only 99 students. When I first went to high school, I thought that it was such a big school and such a big transition from my middle school where my graduating class was less than 50. But Baruch itself is bigger than my high school and an even bigger transition. At first I felt that Baruch was too big. That it had to many students, and that the work load for certain classes was just too much. I felt suffocated. It has been four months since I first felt this way. Now, I feel completely different. I feel like I have more freedom, more room to breath. Going to a small high school, everybody new everybody. It left no room for reevaluating and reinventing yourself. At Baruch, you are able to open yourself up and try new waters, and I’ve got to say that so far I’m liking it.
