We’re Major

Here’s a poem put together from the titles of my favorite songs from the summer:

Liquorice in the bay,
Van vogue with the clique
Come hang with me
in this inútil paisagem
Under flashing lights and slow hands,
Down the rifle’s spiral we’re endangered species.

I heard ‘em say
When it hurts so bad
Keep ya head up and come around
It’s a two way street
Lost and found, Lado b lado a
Then everything goes my way.

So Sir Greendown, say you’ll go
Don’t wake me up
this is the life under your spell
Chained, we broke free
of moons, birds and monsters;
To the world, we’re major.
