I went to three enrichment workshops this semester. I found that all the workshops were a waste of time. I know people put alot of time and effort into these workshops, but they were pointless. I am an adult and i know how to act both in and out of college. The workshops seemed to think of us as children. If i had to say which one i liked the most it would have to be the NYU one on the sole reason that it was more like a play. The one on speaking up for yourself was pointless the idea was right but it should be shown in a high school freshman class not to grown college students. So yeah thats my take on the Baruch enrichment workshops. On a side note loved meeting all of you and hope you have a great four years at Baruch.

Sorry the link is really long but its a picture of a man with 2 piles of papers and a smiley face held in front of his real face. I chose this picture to represent my first semester at Baruch because the work load was a lot more than high school, but I was able to complete all of it without missing one assignment which allowed me to have an awesome 1st semester. It also represents how this semester was not as stressful as I had thought it would be

Dear Professor Hensley,

I was unable to make it to the test today due to a broken leg. I was in the hospital for three days, one of them being the test day. If there is any way I can make up the test or submit extra credit please let me know. If not, no worries.

I really don’t know what this is supposed to be about. We were told to go off our free writes but if I do all it will be about is how lame free writes are. So going down a different road I am going to basically just talk about myself, who I am, and who I want to be. I lived in Lindenhurst Long Island my whole life. I am a student athlete and graduated sixteenth in my class. School comes easy to me. In high school I never studied for a test and I really didn’t care. I wasn’t popular in high school but I wasn’t hated either. I was sort of an average kid. Everyone thinks that because of my personality that I am a douche who just wants to get with girls. This is not true I am a Christian and serve the Lord wholeheartedly and saving myself for my wife. College isn’t much different. The material isn’t that hard and the professors teach as if it’s stuff we can’t grasp. I hope in my future to become a successful businessman. I have a whole arsenal of business ideas that I can’t wait to begin. I love buying and selling things and doing stuff that makes me happy whether it pleases others or not. So that’s my monologue I know it wasn’t that great but that’s me so I guess deal with it.

Hi my name is Joseph Curry Above is the link to a song playlist I made on spotify a couple months ago. Ive created a mix between dub step, metal, and rap. I did this because there are so many varieties of music and i feel that my personality is all over the place just like my song choices. I appeal to many different types of people and group and can get along with almost anyone. The dub step music is my fun side. I like to have a good time with my friends and in general and dub step is a very up beat type of music style. The metal is a personal preference. I like it because although there is screaming it calms me down and in some cases pumps me up. The metal shows the competitive side of me. I will do whatever it takes to be the best at what i am up against. The last songs in this playlist are rap songs. For a little while I was into rap and it did the same thing for me that the metal did. It allowed me calm down or get fired up. I am a very fun person to be around and I have a lot to offer. I hope to get to know so many new and different people during my time in college. The music in the link above describes me and allows me to be myself around whomever I am with.
