I think this ecard truly describes my college experience at baruch. Since I live on Staten Island, I need to catch a bus that goes to the ferry which takes me to manhattan, and then two trains to get to Baruch. The ferry, as anyone can imagine, is the most irritating part of my every day commute. It takes about 10 minutes for me to walk to my bus stop, 45 minutes for my bus to get to my ferry, 30 minutes for the ferry to get to manhattan (if I catch the right scheduled ferry. If not, I have to wait 15-30 minutes for the next one to come), and about a 20 minute train ride. So one might think that they can spare fifteen minutes of their commute, but I run on a very tight schedule. Add this tight schedule to my amount of school work to be done, and you have me being ridiculously sleepy pretty much all the time. Appearance is not my priority, studying for class and trying to get enough sleep for class is.
In a way I’d say that baruch has truly helped with my time management skills and my prioritizing.
