NO-CARD

Nicole’s 3rd Blog Post

I think this meme accurately describes my first semester at Baruch. If there’s one thing that hasn’t changed about me since high school, it would be my work habits. This whole semester I continuously procrastinated homework, essays, and most of all, studying. Surprisingly enough, my procrastination works fairly well for me because I work more efficiently under stress and pressure. This would probably explain why I’m up until 2 or 3 in the morning most of the time, but I manage to get my work done, so I think that’s all that matters. In all likelihood, once I commence taking difficult courses my horrible procrastination habits will come to an end…I hope. What am I doing right now you may ask? Writing this blog post to avoid studying.

Nicole Segal’s monologue

Since I refuse to look at webwork for another second, I decided to complete this assignment. Where do I see myself in thirty years? For starters I’ll be forty-eight years old (which is a horrifying thought), but I will still resemble a stunning twenty-five year old.  I’ll be the most prosperous (corporate) attorney that New York City has ever seen. My husband will be a handsome and intelligent businessman/attorney/doctor/president… whichever his heart desires. We’ll live happily in a mansion with four children and a dog, and we’ll be part of the 1%. The mansion will consist of several guest rooms in case LC03 wants to visit. By the time I’m forty-eight, I also hope I will have traveled at least half of the world, and perhaps own a few houses in countries like Australia, France, England, Spain, and Greece.

Nicole Segal’s playlist

http://grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/Fropost1/-1

This is a playlist that I created on Grooveshark. Considering it was my first time using this website, I’m uncertain whether or not it will work. I’ve listed the songs and artists below, just in case.

I’m a commuter student from Brooklyn, and it takes approximately forty five minutes (on a good day) to arrive at Baruch. I found that time passes much quicker when I have my iPod with me. I also have a habit of listening to music when my homework and studying keeps me up throughout ungodly hours of the night (or morning in most instances). I have an incredibly wide variety of musical tastes, ranging from Indie, Alternative Rock, Classical, Rap/Hip-Hop, and in some (very rare) cases,  Pop/Mainstream. It was exceptionally difficult choosing merely ten songs to describe myself and my personality, so I chose the first ten that came to mind. I hope the Grooveshark link works!

Miss Misery- Elliot Smith

Walking The Dog- Fun.

The Man Who Sold The World- Nirvana

Life in a Glass House- Radiohead

I Won’t Give Up- Jason Mraz

All The Rowboats- Regina Spektor

What The Water Gave Me- Florence & The Machine

Super Rich Kids- Frank Ocean

Wildcat- Ratatat

Skinny Love- Bon Iver
