My favorite experience was the class trip to the Rubin Museum of Art. I like Himalayan culture and their style of art. I found the different meanings behind the various posture of the hands rather interesting.

My favorite workshop we did this year has to be the “Dare to Engage” one. The guy instructing us was pretty funny and the videos we watched weren’t boring, they were actually pretty entertaining as well as educational. It pointed out all the ways some of us may be insulting others through stereotyping. Even though I think people nowadays have to be way too politically correct in order to not hurt anyone’s feeling.  Also I remember the last five minutes of the video everyone kept saying “Ouch” so that was pretty interesting.

The enrichment workshop that resonated with me was the Starr Career Services workshop. This was important because I am interested in getting an internship this upcoming summer. This will help me understand what the business world is like, and what kind of company I would like to work for when I am out of school. In addition, Starr Career Services has an outline as to what to do to for each year so that way one can understand and realize as to what they can do over the course of their school here at Baruch. Also, we should not get pressured to do Accounting or Finance because other students are doing those majors; one should do what he or she would find best for him or herself. This is one of the workshops that I took an interest in.
