NYTimes, our way.

Here is my group’s New York Times “Front Page”!
My group chose parks as our main theme. We thought that the city had affected our first semester and wanted to do NY as a theme. However, it was a bit too vague so we narrowed it down. It was incredible in how in all the hustle and bustle, concrete buildings and subway trains, where was still room for parks. There’s a park just a couple of blocks from Baruch and that us like the idea even more.
We selected the specific parks because they were something that felt interesting to us. Central Park is one of the most famous parks in NYC, for example. Yellowstone Park is widely known for the great views that are portrayed. Parks are an extremely important aspect to the city and for Baruch. It gives people of the city the fresh air, the sense of peace and a place to enjoy life and be stress-free. For college students, especially freshman, it’s crucial for us to not overload our brain with 24/7 information. It’s stressful during midterms and finals week so it’s important that the city has a place for us to “sleep!” Parks are beautiful pieces of nature and I love how NY can incorporate Mother Nature and Mr. Business Man into one.
