New York Times Front Page:

I’d like to start off with this quote:
“There is no sincerer love than the love of food.” -George Bernard Shaw
As you can hint or imply from the quote, our group’s topic for the New York Times Front Page Project was the general subject of food on the local, national, and the international levels. At first, our group had no idea what we wanted to do and seeing that time was key here, I suggested a topic that I knew best: Food. I thought it’d be a good idea to choose this topic because everyone can relate to food in one way or another. The articles that I did all related to food and a person that revolutionized the food industry forever. I was in charge of the bearcat post, the international level post, and a local level post.
My role in this project was the editor, and the designer of the front page in collaboration of Tracy and Jonathan of course. Because I was, technically, working with food, everything on the front page had to be perfect, so that’s probably why I volunteered to setup and design the front page.
I regularly follow the news, most of time, all the time if it’s about food. However, I normally don’t read the New York Times so in a way this project expanded my range of things to follow.
