My group’s theme for the New York Times Front Page project was fashion. We couldn’t think of anything else to do and fashion seemed easy to do because fashion can be found everywhere. We found articles that had something to do with fashion or fashion designers. Fashion is a universal thing so it wasn’t that hard to find articles out of New York. My role was to do an article locally and coincidentally at the time there was the New York Fashion Week. So I found an article describing a trending style seen in some of the fashion. While I was reading and trying to find an article to do, I learned that some people take fashion very seriously.
Through my understanding of news literacy I’ve learned that a source can be reliable if it is found in other news or articles too.
