3 Months In

I’ve recently visited my old high school and I felt extremely different. It felt weird being back in the building that I just cut off ties with a couple months ago. Already three months into my first semester of college, I can already tell how different I am, compared to how I was before I started in September. My gif explains how I feel about my three first months because it describes what I do, what I want to do, and what I lack doing. I sleep on my commute to and from school every day. On the subway, on the ferry, and on the SIR. I want to sleep every chance that I get because it’s something that I don’t get enough of. Commuting has become a big part of my transition to college. It cuts my sleep time by 4 hours every day. But overall, my first three months have been a great experience. I plan to continue in Baruch and pursue my intended major, actuarial science. As I start to plan out my classes for the spring semester, I hope to encounter more people, and many more experiences to have under my belt.

Thanks for your reflections, Joanne. Keep working towards the transition (and getting some sleep!).
