Not Quite Ready

Alright well let’s see how to describe the first three months of college for me. Well the title of this post says it all. Truly high school did nothing to prepare me for college and honestly it’s only now that I’m finally getting into the swing of things. Heh well it’s a little too late for my first semester, but at least I know for the next semester right? Well whatever, besides that college really doesn’t feel much different that high school except the fact that it’s been a lot more difficult that high school ever was. I’ve participated in a few things. Just some little things here and there, but other than that it’s just been a similar daily routine. Honestly Baruch doesn’t seem like the place for me because I am just honestly not interested in anything the school has to offer. My original and hopefully ongoing plan is to move away to find and pursue something I enjoy, but more to just find myself. So there’s a small summary as to how my first three months at this college has been going.

Finding yourself can certainly be an ongoing process, it’s great that you are thinking about it and trying to find your “fit”. Hopefully you’re getting into the swing of things at Baruch and starting to sort out what you do/don’t enjoy. Reflection is a great tool and I’d encourage you to use other resources at the college (academic advisors, student life). Keep up the good work!
