Enrichment Blog Post

Last week we went to an art gallery where Theresa Bernstein’s work is proudly displayed. Although I usually don’t care for art that much, I found this gallery to be very interesting. I like how Bernstein uses different styles and techniques throughout her pieces, each being different from the next, giving the viewer a variety of different styles to examine. The piece that was most interesting to me was …(cant remember the name)… but it was the last one on the wall as you go to exit the gallery. This one stuck out to me because, as the tour guide explained, was a piece constructed right before she died that incorporated all of her themes and styles throughout her life with things that meant something to her and threw it into one painting; ultimately being the summation of her life as an artist.

ACA Article

After reading the article, I have many thoughts developing in my head. First, I don’t understand why the poorest states in america are the ones not getting help and refuting the Medicaid Program. I somewhat agree with the way the Republicans are viewing the program though, why should people who don’t work and who are poor and lazy get the same benefits that the rich hard working man gets? I feel that if someone is looking to get insured by the government, then they should be willing to give back in some way, like having a job. I also feel that there should be another form of insurance program that does cover the poor people because they do need medical attention too. If someone can get covered and not have to work, then that isn’t fair to the people who do work that are covered. I feel that the states not planning to expand their Medicaid should set up something else because the states that aren’t expanding are the states with the highest black poverty rate and those states need the Medicaid the most. all and all the article was very interesting, it was nice to get some knowledge on the subject.

Although there are thousands of images that describe me, I have put together a group of ten images that, in my opinion, describe me the best. First I am going to start by talking about my family. Since  I couldn’t find a picture of my entire family i used one of my dad, brother and myself. My family is very important to me, throughout all my struggles, my family has stood by me and supported me through everything that I have ever done and and I can always count on them for anything. My friends are also very important to me. I have a close circle that will always be behind me pushing me through anything that I set my mind to. Although we argue like children, we are kinda like a family , always staying together through the toughest of times, fighting about little things. My interests in life include: Doing the best I can at whatever I do. I like to set high goals that; with hard work and commitment, I can accomplish to the highest extent. I love to be outdoors, sitting in a house on a nice day is not for me at all.I enjoy going to the beach and chilling outside with my friends. I love going to EDM events with my friends. I also loving partying on my boat, bringing the party wherever I please. One of the greatest moments of my like was when I graduated from North Shore High School and received my diploma. This was a special day for me because it marked the first day of my future. Graduating from high school made me realize that the real world is only a few months away and that my ‘childhood’ of carelessness and not having to worry about anything was soon going to be over. CREAM is my philosophy on life. Without money the world would not go round. Money is my motivation to succeed in life so that I can not have to worry about bills or expenses. It is also my motivation to do very well in school, because college is where it really counts and this is what is going to determine the rest of my future. I hope you all found my life to be very interesting.
