Enrichment Workshop

The enrichment workshop was a different experience. I was never forced to examine art work in such a detailed way before, every stroke was a strategic move that was made to help add to a bigger picture/meaning. One such work by Theresa Bernstein was the picture of the mother and child. Bernstein purposely makes the woman’s face ambiguous and dark to add to the dark tone. Bernstein purposely chooses to work with this color pallet to represent a time in her life that she struggled with.

Affordable Care Act

The numbers are shocking. We the people give government power, so in turn they should help those who have helped them, that is to an extent. The government should only help until help isn’t needed anymore, so in part it is also the people’s responsibility to help themselves, go look for job that provide health care.  We can’t always  solely depend  on the government to help us, they are often unreliable so in cases like this we don’t have another option, always have a backup plan.

These pictures are a good representation of me because each photo stands for something i love or enjoy to do. The first two photos are pictures of me and my two best friends who I love spending time with. The photo of the cupcake represents my sweet tooth. Although i do enjoy my sweets i also enjoy savory things as well which leads into my next photo that displays my favorite type of cuisine, Italian. The photo of the Eiffel Tower symbolizes one of my favorite places in the world. Although i haven’t traveled there yet, the language, cuisine and overall atmosphere further entices me to go.  But Paris isn’t the only city I would like to see, I would love to travel all over Europe. The fifth image represents my love for the colder weather, Autumn in particular, but Winter as well. The sixth photo represents one of my favorite places in New York; Central park captures the beauty of the city, while providing a nice place to relax in. The picture of the golden retriever shows my love for animals and particularly dogs. I admire the fact that dogs are so loyal and kind even when they are treated poorly.
