Above are eight pictures that explain who I am to the best of what only eight pictures can do.
I was born and raised in a small city called Bangalore in  South India.
My family is originally from a state called Kerala also in South India.
Coming from an almost all rounded athletic family, it was only natural for me to also play sports. I ran track my whole life up to the tenth grade. But what caught me the most, sports related wise was basketball, it became my biggest passion and what I do best. In order to pursue basketball at a higher level I moved to America after my tenth grade and went to a mostly sports oriented high school in Queens. The transition taught me a lot of life lessons as well as culture differences, but having to be able to go through the American high school experience made walking into college in a different country than my original motherland easier.
I’m into photography and hope to be able to have a part time job in the field one day or at least have an exhibition, I take my camera or at least try to take it everywhere I go because I believe there is always something unique to capture because every person has a different eye behind the lens. The most fascinating thing I like capturing with my camera is graffiti and what better place than New York to find the most extreme types of graffiti. The picture of graffiti on the building is a picture I took in Williamsburg. It’s one of my favorites because it so easily portrays how different Brooklyn is.  My mom and dad both pursued creative fields and I too hope to do the same using my art skills and creativity.  My last picture explains how much I love New York City, the impression it’s left on me after two years of living here makes me want to get a job here and end up settling here, eventually.
