My group and I chose to write about culture because it is a crucial aspect in all our lives. We all come from different ethnic backgrounds and we embrace it. It was a perfect opportunity for us to link our individual cultures and the incredible diversity Baruch has to offer. Each of us wrote about a different aspect of our culture— food, music, and architecture. The topic we selected was our way of expressing our concern for raising cultural awareness. It is pivotal to raise cultural consciousness at Baruch, not only amongst its current students, but also its alumni, and faculty, because it is something all of us have/can and should openly embrace in other people.
