I chose this meme, because of how surprisingly accurate it is. My parents think that I study… or at least that is what I think they expect of me. Then my friends think I am studying hard, since that is all I talk about with them. And I know that society thinks that any college freshmen party. Even I thought like that. Such as that, most of these are pretty accurate, especially when it comes to what I actually do and what I think I do.

 

My first semester of Baruch was definitely an amazing experience. I got to meet many new people, especially great friends that I know I can appreciate. Although there were some bad parts to it, such as a certain math teacher, I really got to enjoy most of what happened around at Baruch. I am glad that I got to join the E-Sports Association and meet many great people and to have had classes with such amazing personalities. However it seems that I have grown even more lazy. Go me 😀

It has been 18, almost 19, years.

However let’s not look at the world in such a boring(mathematical) way.

Because my life shouldn’t be dictated by numbers.

There is more to life than just that.

There are the fun times, sad times and awkward moments.

Trust me, everyone has one.

These are what should dictate my life.

What I am composed of.

The achievements I have succeeded.

The stupidities I have caused.

The exciting moments I have experienced.

The failures that I have dwelled upon.

So let me say this:

This video represents who I am by following the simple time period of my life. Although it is not too much, and there might be much that has been left out. I believe that by knowing where someone comes from, people are able to have a general idea of who one is. I have created this video by using Adobe Illustrator and a basic video making program that I had on my computer. I had always loved art and creating art. So in my free time I made random illustrations and videos. Using this past experience I was able to make a fairly nice video (in my opinion). I did not draw all the illustrations, but most of them are mine and a few, such as the outline of the Korean peninsula, was taken from the internet.

While making this video I went through the huge music files that I had. I did have lot of music, but I wanted something something that was instrumental. However it still was a huge collection, more than 1000 songs. So I went through them and found the perfect one that fit to my concept. It was tranquil but had a nice excited beat. After that I spent about 4 hours and finished the video. It took me this long just because I had to draw everything and also try to get everything into a nice flowing animation.
