Basketball is a safe haven for me. I basically grew up on the basketball courts since everyday I would be at the park playing from when I left school until it became so dark out that I couldn’t see the ball anymore. I was always looking forward to early morning workouts, late night practices and all the games throughout the years. When I get on the courts, nothing else means anything to me. Everything going on in my life is drained out of my mind and all that matters is basketball. The most beautiful sound in the world is the sound of a shot going through the hoop rattling against the metal nets. I love the game. Ball is life!
