Hello there my fellow earthlings. I come from a place not too far from Baruch College, which is Middle Village in Queens. I chose these songs not only because they are my favorite but because i can relate to them. The first song talks about about confidence in it’s own way and to move on from the past. I feel a lot more confident coming to Baruch and actually talking to people. I was very antisocial during the last two years of high school. I would try to avoid people and just talk to my few close friends. “Float On” is basically what the title says. I know i do not have have many obstacles in life but i made them a lot bigger than what they really had to be. Don’t dwell in the past. Continue on and do not let anything stop you. “Imagine”, is me not just taking care of myself but taking care of what is around me. “We’re Going to be Friends”, the first time i heard this song was in the movie Napoleon Dynamite (funniest movie ever) and i just loved it. It reminds me of All the fun and innocence you can ever imagine but time always passes and you just have to grow up. There will still be a whole lot of fun in the future so I am not worried. I can relate to the song “Colours” because i will never forget who i really am even with all this change going on around me. “Satellite”is about moving forward and to try new things. I am very open minded and wiling to try anything that is put in front of me.”Rocket Ship” is just makes me enjoy all the little things in life.I made some really awesome friends here at Baruch so far. I am glad i chose Baruch and really excited to what else it has to offer.
