I was unable to attend an enrichment event during the last weeks because of loads of homework (English), therefore I completed the VARK Questionaire. VARK stands for Visual Aural Read/Write Kinesthetic, which are all ways of learning. This questionnaire posed questions that determine the most effective way of learning for an individual. After filling out the questionnaire, I received my results that put me in the multimodal learning preference.

The multimodel learning preference means that I had the highest preference for a combination of strategies, which included Read/Write, for which I had 11, and Aural, for which I got 9. This meant that I have a learning preference in actually listening to the instructor/ professor and in reading or writing as my methods of receiving information. This is true, I do find that I learn more by listening, reading, and writing. Therefore, this questionnaire does give reasonable results about one’s preference in learning.
