Meditation. Give your mind a break.

Stress. It’s something that we like to escape and reduce in our lives. College can be extremely stressful when you have quizzes, papers due, and exams all on the same day. Sometimes you need to step back and say, “Hey! Can the world just stop for one second so I can catch my breath?” At Baruch, Tuesdays are your days to catch your breath. Tuesday Meditation Classes are held every Tuesday until December 10th in 3-225. The class is meant for you to leave your worries at the door and indulge yourself in complete peace. I attended a session one Tuesday and was completely relaxed afterwards. It’s important for students to take a break from their studies once in a while, and enjoy a piece of quiet. Overstudying can clog the brain and cause one to blank out during the actual exam. If you’re in need for a 30 minute break on Tuesdays, head over to the meditation class. It will definitely be worth your time.
