I think how i have been living makes what i become now. That’s why i put my baby picture and the picture taken when i was on a soccer team in Tennessee. And i like music and singing. The pictures of me singing were taken my brother when i won the high school singing competition. Also the background music is I lived by One Republic which was the group song for the top 8 competitors. it became one of my favorite songs since that day. The lyrics are cheering and passionate. Also, i put some pictures of my friends and my family because they the most important ones in my life. I think it’s very very important to spend time with them. I feel happy when i make them laugh.

My Life Summed Up In 8 Pics!

I posted eight pictures of how/ who I perceive myself to be as a person. I posted a pictue of a girl getting her hair and make- up done. As you will soon notice, I change my hair style quite often, and I love lip stick, eye-liner, and mascara. People often say that I am rude, but I consider myself to be outspoken, thus describes the picture saying, “How Rude!” I love to dance and I love children, so I have pictures representing both. I am a part of the Baruch Dance Team and I work in an aftershool in Flatbush,Brooklyn. I am a Christian, so I have a picture saying, “Jesus is the Great I am.” I want to be the best person that I possibly can. I want to be better than everyone aroundme and I believe that I can be, so I have a picture that says “No Mediocre.” I refuse to settle in life. People also tell me that I am funny and I think that I am, so I posted a joke in my slideshow. I have costochrondritis which is basically inflammation in my chest, so I also included a picture of that, That’s my life, in a nutshell.

This slideshow shows who I am as an individual and where I come from. I started with a picture of my parents because, they are my motivation for pretty much everything. It also reflects my culture. Next I went on with my favorite food and drink because, who doesn’t like food? Also the song I picked is from my all time favorite band. My playlist is full of weeknd songs, and I never get tired of him. I ended with a inspiration picture that helps me strive for more. I am an independent girl and I dislike depending on others. I love dressing up for occasions because I also love shopping a lot. I used to love playing the guitar but I haven’t done it in a while so thinking of starting it again. And as you can see, I do the funniest things with my friends and am always up and about to try different foods at different restaurants. Last but not the least,I’d like to add that im very attached to my family . Thankyou!

Juan’s slidely

So here’s a nine image representation of who I am. As you can see in that ridiculous person wearing the banana suit, I’m mostly a humorous and outgoing person who enjoys being comedic relief. The cat shown in the slideshow is my brother’s. His name is Simba. We enjoy each other’s company (as far as any cat enjoys human company) as you see how I love to give him ‘noogies’. I’m actually afraid of heights, but that hasn’t stopped me from going on amusement rides…or even pose when my picture is taken! I do have some moderate culinary skills. The image of the sandwich platter was made by yours truly as a catering order for a company, something I enjoy doing. I have two brothers! They can be seen behind me in the elf hat picture. The one on the right is the older one, and the one on the left happens to look a lot like me despite being about three years apart.

Keren Jiang’s Slidely by Slidely Slideshow

I chose 10 images to make this slideshow because I believe 8 pictures could not really represent who I am. I am a girl who came from China one year ago. I love Chinese culture! This is the very reason why I use a piece of Zheng music as the background. Zheng, also named Guzheng, is a traditional Chinese plucked instrument, as shown in the third image. I have learnt to play zheng from a very early age.The third picture is about the hot pot. I can never resist the temptation of a  hot pot though it is fattening. Did you see that angry but funny facial expressions on the seventh photo? My parents could prove that when I was in my childhood, I simply did that angry face almost everyday. They always laugh at me when I did that angry  face, but thanks to their patience and love,   I finally learnt to be friendly and optimistic. I also have many other images which I am willing to share; however, I left a lot of them in my old PC in China, including a video featuring my performance with Guzheng.

All in all,  I am a Chinese girl who is a little shy but warmhearted. Although I cherish traditional Chinese culture and try my best to carry it forward, I am welcome to friends with different cultural backgrounds. Hope that I will create an unforgettable experience with all of you.
