I see myself
Running through the street
But I am still alone
In the city streets,
I work around the clock
For eight dollar an hour
To keep myself on my top
For myself to gain power,
I am a New Yorker
I am a New Yorker
I wake up every early morning
To keep the struggle running
I hope today,
I can catch the MTA on time
But Sometimes I can’t manage my time
And end up like an another New Yorker
Who just took a wrong line!
I don’t like the cold winter wave
Nor I like the heat wave of the summer
But I am still a Bearcat and Yankee
Who just loves the glowing city?
I am a New Yorker,
I am Yankee,
I am a Bearcat,
Who will love this city to the end of time!
