Stocks to Watch on Nov 30: APP, APPL, GDOT, NFLX, TIVO

 American Apparel, Inc (AMEX: APP) formed a shooting star today, which could be bearish. But, since MACD is just crossed and CMF is recovering. I think the 200 day moving average should give a decent support. APP is on my radar.

 Green Dot Corp (NYSE: GDOT) has filled the previous gap, not far away from $13.59 high. Crossing $13.59 would send the stock on fire. Mind for high RSI reading thou.

 Netflix, Inc (NASDAQ: NFLX) broke the ascending triangle from below and CMF crossed below, which are bearish signals. I have already sold my shares.

TiVo, Inc (NASDAQ: TIVO) Its first time not to drop after earning reports since 2012 Q1. Nice jump today with huge volume. Bbands is widening with accelerating CMF reading. Long setup. Congras for those who follows my twits.

Apple, Inc (NASDAQ: APPL) today has opened, as well as closed above the little pennant formed, a sign for trend continuation. My short term target of $620 still holds. However, mind for a 50 moving average cross down.

Stocks to Watch on Nov 29: DDD, GRPN, TLAB, APP, TIVO

American Apparel, Inc. (AMEX: APP) have closed above $1 benchmark at $1.02. However, today’s candlestick is a harami. I expect a pullback to $1.00 before any further action; therefore, $1.00 could be a great entry level.

 

 3D System Corp. (NYSE: DDD) jumped 6.90% made a new 52w high with decent volume, breaking above the channel I have drawn yesterday. Trend is accelerating as mentioned. A touch of upper Bband after a consolidation signals an uptrend continues. I still long DDD. I have moved my stop up to $45.00.

 

Groupon, Inc (NASDAQ: GRPN) My outlook stays the same for this stock, as a bottom play candidate. Please refers to my yesterday’s post for more. My next ST target is $5.00 (just a round number before previous high $5.50)

 
 

TiVo. Inc (NASDAQ: TIVO) has made a new high today, reporting Q3 results with surprise. Again, as in DDD, after a narrow Bbands, a touch of the upper band signals an uptrend. However, TIVO declines by 5% after hours, so definitely, put it on your radar to see how TIVO performs tomorrow.

 
 
Tellabs, Inc (NASDAQ: TLAB) As I mentioned on Nov 20, I long TLAB based on the following
“(1) Parabolic SAR shows a uptrend is upcoming.
(2) MACD is going to cross over, very possibly, tomorrow.
(3) Double bottom pattern on BB.
(4) RSI is at oversold level.
My short term target for TLAB is $3.00, which is a round number and the previous high”.
 
Now, the stock is closing close at $2.98, roughly breaking the downtrend. If $3.00 psychological point is crossed, my next ST target will be $3.11. Congratulations for those who follows me and traded TLAB.

Stocks to watch on Nov 14, 2012: SIRI, DDD, NFLX, TIVO

 Netflix, Inc (NASDAQ: NFLX) has filed the gap and showing a ascending triangle, which is by definition a continuation (bullish) pattern. A closing above $81.00 is significant because it will be above 200 day MA too. The volume follows the criteria for ascending triangle. Watch for breakout guys. Use entry order with a stop around at least $75.00 level or closer.

TiVo, Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO) is still showing support from 50day MA. I will consider adding shares on it, depends on NFLX, whichever comes first. 

 3D Systems Corp (NYSE: DDD) just find something bearish on my recent favorite stock. AD line is showing a negative divergence with the recent uptrend. Massive sell out in the recent two trading days with huge volume. MACD history is about to cross to negative level. However, some firms upgrades its rating. Given the high RSI reading, I think the stock will continues to drop in the coming days, and might be hitting the lower BB until a reversal or retracement.

Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ: SIRI) is showing a bullish sign. Support found on $2.66 level which is previously a high, confirming the uptrend still enacts, after hitting lower BB and 50 Day moving average (Bullish!) Volume today is large although the movement is little (0.36%). MACD histogram is reversing. Comparably high AD level amid lower prices. I think the stock will reach $2.9 level in less than 2 weeks. I am planning to add shares tomorrow.

Stocks to Watch for Nov 12: TIVO, EBAY, APP, JPM

 American Apparel Inc. (AMEX: APP) shows some strong strong around $1.03 area. Any drop below this area will trigger massive sell off, at least until $0.95 level, fulfilling the inverted head & shoulder pattern. However, the stock tends to reverse when CMF readings are in extreme level. So watch out for any bullish action, which also gives a double bottom signal under BB. (i.e. when second trough does not touch lower BB) Additionally, MACD Histogram is about to cross above. Definitely put it on your radars.

 eBay, Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY) with a flat BB and low ADX reading. Any price greenish price action, making the closings away from lower BB can be bullish, signaling a possible double bottom play.

J.P. Morgan Cahse & Co (NSYE: JPM) shows some retracement today, closing at $40.62, confirming some support from 50day moving average. Slow STO at oversold level. I am looking the stock to continue its uptrend soon.

TiVo, Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO). I bought some shares today. 50-200 moving averages golden crossed, with decent action today.

Coach, Inc (NYSE: COH) made a run despite the market turmoil today as its sales had shown significant growth due to increase demand overseas. The stock price is now back to above 50 day moving average @ $58.15 with huge volume. Pretty healthy move. There might be a saucer bottom on MA(50).  Definitely put it on our radar.

 S&P 500 ETF (NYSE: SPY) The picture here is even worse than what I have covered on yesterday’s post. The index has dropped 20 point or 1.39%, making it close below 50 day moving average. On Balance Volume seems turning around.

TIVO, Inc (NASDAQ: TIVO) surged for 1.02% amid the falling of board market. This movement might show there is some level of support from 50 day moving average.

Proshare Ultra VIX Short-term Futures ETF (NYSE: UVXY) is a fairly newly found levered ETF longing CME VIX index, a.k.a. Fear index. A levered ETF on VIX could bring a hedge to your portfolio buying allotting the very minimum amount of fund in it. I have around 5% of my portfolio holding UVXY to protect my money from market downfall. Given today’s surge and positive MACD, upticking RSI and higher highs, UVXY could be a useful tool amid the period where almost half of S&P 500 are announcing their earnings. I don’t suggest large holding in UVXY due to the contango VIX futures. Plus, VIX index is highly speculative in nature.

Xyratex Ltd. (NASDAQ: XRTX) is testing if it can fill the gap. On my radar.
